When I was younger I split my time between my Dads on Shuswap Lake British Columbia and my Moms on Georgian Bay Ontario. Not having fished throughout my adolescence, when I was 18 years of age my friends invited me along on a Fishing Trip in Northern Ontario where we proceeded to catch over 50 fish in three days. I was hooked. Ever since that trip I got more and more into fishing and the Outdoors. In 2019 myself and my Fiance made the move to Kamloops BC for work, and to be closer to the Shuswap. Spending most of my weekends in the Shuswap has provided me with a love for Shuswap Lake like no other. I caught my first Rainbow "Buck tailing" a Bucktail fly out front of my families place located on Canoe Point. Since then, I have been tying and perfecting different colour combinations for fly patterns that simply put, catch fish on both large interior lakes, rivers and small still water stocked lakes.
